Saturday Morning TOYF: 5 showed up at the Hills track step for the Saturday morning long run TOYF comprise of Fay Al-Saadeoun, Kwadjo Adusei-Poku, Max Ruppert, Ghassan Zahdan and Myself. We ran the usual route and after 30 mins Coach Pete Crisi joined us near the Hills park and then after 4.5 miles we stopped for water. Ghassan and Fay took off from there while the rest of us continued up Golf Course Kwadjo went up straight Max, Pete and Myself went up Mary Hills and then to BMX. Max and Pete went towards Peninsula and I continued towards Rolling hills and then hills track steps completing 7.15mile. To humid with no wind weather made us shorten the distance. Max completed 9 miles. And Imran Munir completed 15 hours of Sleep 😴 Well done All👏👏👏. Friday Morning 4k XC race : 19 runners showed this humid Friday morning for the September 4k XC, with a very good showing from the Mafia and not so good from Dhahran runners. The top 4 runners were all first time XC runners: Modi was first, followed by Eugene, Daryl Dominguez, and Rosa. Rounding out the promoted top 5 was Charlo Rabaja Lugtu with the only PB of the day (by 47 secs!). Fit runners were generally about 1 to 1:30 slow due to the conditions. Special thanks goes out to Coach Blair Stuewe who stood at the top of the course to marshall the new runners around the course! This was Giovanni L. Leones's last race with Wellness Running. Thursday Evening Loop Run: 7 Athletes showed up at the Hills Park Parking lot comprise of Dr. Rifat Abdi, Tony El Khoury, Adil Ba Aziz, Matt Neuman, Ghassan Zahdan, Myself and Coach Mike Michael Hulver on his Eliptigo Bike. We ran the usual route stopped for water at AAA. Adil went up 3rd to complete 6 miles while the rest of us continued towards Canyon- Gas Station- Golf Course when we spotted Amani Alkhatib Haikal who was running on her own and then back to Parking Lot completing 5miles.
