Playing with the waves

I had managed to grow my hair past shoulder length, but I have them cut shorter again due hair fall issue. Still, I enjoy short bob hair style like this. So, I don't really mind   :)

Based on this fact, I imagined that Norway is type of guy who doesn't mind weathers much. Thus, he won't mind playing around in beach during cloudy days or maybe even, rainy days  =D

It was a fun nostalgia  :)

Tolys, as 1920s gentleman, doing the hat tipping greeting  :) It's an old fashioned greeting and hardly being done today. Even so, I'm familiar with it since I saw it a lot when reading and watching Donald Duck and other Disney's works in my childhood.

Česko is Czech language for "Czechia" I got the idea to portray her in sailor dress after recalled that the greeting "Ahoj" (which means "hello" in Czech") sounds like "Ahoy", the signal word that is often used on a ship or boat. Despite this, however- Czech is a landlocked country. She doesn't border with any seas. What an irony, huh?   ^ ^”

Romano as early 20th century Italian immigrant. I like that era's fashion a lot   I got the idea after reading the part which he immigrated to America, as well influenced from movie Titanic. America was seen as land of dreams back then, large number of people (especially those from Europe) immigrated there. Even now, things haven't changed. According to Wikipedia, Italian Americans are the 4th largest European ethnic group in America. 84% of Italian immigrants came from South Italy & Sicily. Italian Americans rank seventh, behind German American, Irish American, African American, English American, American, and Mexican American.

I also got to learn new coloring techniques that made colors look smoother  ^_^
