I Guess we're doing Dolls

-The spin-off series is focused on the dolls being witches (Draculaura's domain), not them being alty/weird humans (Clawdeen's domain)

-The spin-off branch in doll with the main Monster High was with Draculaura, not Clawdeen

-Draculaura, not Clawdeen, gets the skulltimate Ultimate doll

-She's the only one out of the trio to not get a styling head

so like for example, skulltimate roller maze dolls are based off of the friday night frights movie, so if you’ve seen the movie you know why they’re in those outfits and what they’re doing, same for ghouls rule, escape from skull shores, etc.

and some of the G3 dolls that came out when the show was still going have that too, but since they cancelled the show + movies + webisodes and basically all G3 media, there’s really no story behind any of the dolls anymore. and yeah there doesn’t have to be, and a lot of the dolls are pretty self-explanatory (like self scare secrets, they’re at home relaxing, or goregeous oasis, they’re on a luxury vacation) but there are some that i would really like to know about. like the hauntleywood mysteries one, they’re so dressed up but why?? what are they doing? from the name you could assume they’re going to a red carpet style event but again, why? it makes sense for Catty because she’s a pop star but why Clawdeen and Frankie too? or are they going to a party? are they winning an award? it truly is a hauntleywood mystery
