Extra character flavoring for Skid and Pump since I constantly get too many ideas for this AU:
- Skid was named after a deceased relative in his family. He gets compared to them often, and it's led to him absolutely hating the name Beverly.
- Whenever Skid hears someone call him by his real name ( mainly by adult men ), it puts him into fight-or-flight momentarily. He's able to hide his reaction to it pretty well, but Pump has picked up on it.
- Skid is nearly incapable of expressing true anger. He is quick to frustrate, but habitually refuses to express it properly either by laughing it off or being avoidant.
- Occasionally Skid will get nosebleeds for no reason. Pump has caught him a couple times taking pictures of himself with blood running down his face. Skid says it's "good reference material".
- Back when he was alive, Pump was absolutely terrified of his own reflection. Having to see his own face scared him, and even after dying he still habitually avoids going near mirrors. It's part of why he hated the drawing Skid made so much.
- Because of Pump's inability to communicate with most people, he is very clingy with Skid and gets very anxious whenever he's alone. If Skid is in the bathroom for extended periods of time, such as showering, Pump will sit outside the door and talk to him until he leaves.
- Pump has a slight speech impediment. It doesn't affect his ability to speak for the most part, but if he is excessively nervous or has been talking for long stretches of time his words will get slurred together.
