Krem obviously is a rapist, with all his “wives” and rutheye is sexualized right as she gets to Bilquis with a man offering to buy her from Kara, so the theming is there. But with rutheye specifically, her dialogue on why she wants revenge can be so relatable if one is a rape victim.

In Kara’s speech to her even, as she tries to convince her to to kill Krem, when Kara says “it won’t take your pain away. you’ll have to carry him with you for the rest of your life” Rutheye says “So what? I’m already ruined.”

that caught me off guard. not “my life is already ruined.” or “everything is ruined” SHES ruined.

and Kara’s assurance her life with instead be the revenge, and rutheyes wishes it never happened just flashed me back to some of the conversations i’ve had with victims, to dissuade them from staying fixed on what their abuser did to them, and i’m sure the dialogue that happens to dissuade victims from taking non legal actions affair their abusers (which i’m not saying is inherently wrong, it just sticks with you)

and then in similar fashion, after rutheye spares Krem he says something along the lines of “You think you’ve saved her soul, there won’t be anything worth saving.”

She hasn’t killed anyone in the movie, how would she be “ruined?”

I don’t know, just a different interpretation, especially with the original comic actually ending with krem getting locked up, demonstrating a “misinformed revenge” vs “justice” arguement.

but is it the girl that has made the era of my life exponentially better, certainly.

im long distance and i get asked if its hard or if other people should do it, and lowkey a lot of people it’s not for

but i have autism and to find someone who will deal with my bs is smth only willing to trade for any hot babe college

i think for others the call to long distance isn’t as strong because they can find a good relationship wherever. but this is something i’ve never seen somebody do before. and before this, i didn’t even know if there was someone who could care for me beyond tolerating me.
