Idk but I think western feminists have more things to worry about like, let me think... detangling their movement from decades of imperialism used to justify the sanctioning, invading, and bombing of West Asia, the missiles and drone strikes that kill the very women they claim to care about, the sanctions they call a "merciful option" that doesn't allow the very women they claim to care about from affording medical care. I feel like that's something they should be more busy with than coming online and calling Muslim women brainwashed cows.
And call me crazy but considering the political climate we're under where the U.S killed 160+ school girls and said they were "freeing" them, it don't think it's wise to claim that Muslim women are brainwashed animals that need saving, especially when that's the rhetoric that has been used to justify invading and bombing these countries that, if you happen to forget, contain the very women you claim to care about.
I know it's hard to let go of your imperialist saviour fantasies where you dream of saving us from the clutches of our backwards and barbaric men, and granting us the freedom we've been waiting for, a fantasy where we thank and worship you for educating us and teaching us your western ways (ways that includes murdering our children and pillaging our land), it might be hard to look at a Muslim woman and imagine that she has anything going up there, but maybe if you talked to us you would see that the very first thing we need is to not get blown into smithereens 🙃.
