I’m fairly new to the pet regression community so I’m still obviously learning lots, any tips or advice is much appreciated

they don’t want their worth to be related to their perceived intellect, or even from any level of effort; they want to be a dumb mutt and still be cherished, still be worth something. still be /good/.

like obviously from a psychological perspective it’s not super interesting, kinda a role reversal / break from stress kinda thing. but like. it’s interesting to me.

mostly what’s interesting to me is that they /get/ that. they get to be a dumb puppy with someone else making the choices, and they don’t have to do any of the hard thinking or work because they’re just too small, too silly for that. they get to be a good pup without having to pitch over parts of themselves.

they get to trust someone so fully that they’d leave every choice in their hands, fully surrendered.
