As a kid who had lots of trouble voicing their wants and needs to the adults around them growing up, Steve from Blues Clues being so accommodating and gentle with Blue and his audience is very special to me. He always asks if the audience is okay with helping him, he never gets angry when things become tedious or frustrating, and he genuinely enjoys getting to help and take care of others.
He's able to act silly and a little clueless (pun intended) without sacrificing his position as an adult. It still feels like he's watching over Blue and the audience, inventing the game "Blue's Clues" as a way to make understanding Blue's needs easier for him and more fun for Blue.
Great dad, great babysitter, overall 10/10 male role model.
