Hi Britt after reading that OOC note you made talkin about your past I wanted to ask you what your advice is on returning to a fandom after messing up so bad? I did something like that too and I'm also scared to go back t othe fandom and I need some encouragement. Thank you you're so brave for doing what you did too

Sure anon, I’ll try to help you out the best I can but I can’t promise it will work out. The way people receive your return will depend on each and every individual person. Not everyone will be kind, not everyone will accept you, but you have to be willing to do this for you above anyone else. If you want to go back to a fandom after some drama (no matter how severe or minor) - you have the right to return. You always have the freedom to do that and there’s nothing wrong with going back, if you truly desire to do just that.
Remember, everyone deserves a real second chance, and to be given a chance to change so they can grow as a person, writer, or friend. Having a second chance stripped away isn’t fair because no one is perfect and every human makes mistakes; no matter how large or small. I’ll agree that saying ‘sorry’ a million times isn’t exactly enough and that’s why I always advise that - the best apologies - are changing your behavior and righting your wrongs. So, don’t return if the same mistakes will be made as they were before. That makes it null and void. If you’re coming back, show that you’ve changed and try to make the environment positive, rather than negative for others. My best advice here is to follow your own heart and your own gut but also listen to your mind, too. If you want this and you're sure of it, mind and heart alike, then you should be okay to return and start over slowly. Don't try to leave everything behind, people deserve to know who you are and they need to know that because no - not everyone will be okay with you coming back. Still, if you're honest, it can't be held against you and people cannot say you tried to manipulate them later on. It's good to be honest, so be honest, and show that by being real to people.
If you return and you find yourself feeling scared, depressed, paranoid, or angry - take a break. Better yet, come back when you feel like you're of a stable and sound mind, so you can really show people that you're not at all who you were when you messed up. Don't come back and use an alias, don't come back and make yourself look like you're someone different, and definitely don't lie about your past. It'll only make things worse for you in the end.All I can say, from personal experience, is take an extended hiatus of a few months ( 3 to 6 months should be good ) and then slowly start writing again with the people that stuck by you. Be very selective about others during this healing process. Then you can let others in gradually when your comfort returns!
The people that kept you in their hearts despite your wrong doing; the ones that have had the opportunity to watch you grow and change. Above all just focus on bettering yourself for yourself and not for anyone else. Remember them, they’re your true friends, and they deserve to get this opportunity to write with you first because they won’t abandon you when times are tough.
Don’t come back for the sake of the people that made you feel unwelcome to begin with; it’s not worth it, and it gives them a power they don’t deserve. Those people may have been your wake up call but you know what? You deserve to be happy and to write when and how you want to, where you want to, and without fear of being bullied/targeted. You deserve to be among friends and like minds above all else.Good luck, anon. I'll be rooting for you to have a successful return to your chosen fandom as soon as possible but until then - focus on you. Take the time you need. Relax, unwind, and remember this is a hobby and not a competition like some people may want it to be! <3
Though I haven’t been following Britt long, their passion for Daryl shows through in how spot on the portrayal is. Particularly his body language and dialog, it flows as if it was written for the canon screen. They’ve taken even small things from canon and developed them into BRILLIANTLY fleshed out headcanons that suit Daryl greatly. All in all, their characterization is fantastic.

Neither will I attempt to brush it off and hold my muse back in a situation they wouldn’t be alright with. FINALLY, she was being saved from this living hell. her family was here to rescue her. that meant that daryl never stopped searching for her, knew that she MADE IT, just like she told him back at the shack in the woods. miraculously, noah was able to locate her family and bring them back to her. she’s crossing the floor of the hospital to the side where familiar faces were, faces of people that she deeply LOVED. her eyes are watering, everything she put up with in grady made this moment more than worth it. deep down, she knew she was gonna be able to see everyone again. rick kisses her head briefly which causes her lips to curl into a smile. she looks up and sees daryl, the sight of him making her heart stop in her chest. ❝ DARYL. ❞ beth breathes out, tears now streaming down her face. she knew the man wasn’t for affection in the slightest but without a second thought, she steps towards him and desperately winds her arms around his body, burying her face in his neck.
Daryl's stomach had managed to twist itself into a tight knot, his heart pounding intensely against his ribs, as he awaited to be reunited with Beth Greene. He had searched for her for far too long and luckily, he had met Noah, a kid that had decided to help get Beth back for their group. Upon arriving at Grady, Daryl felt himself becoming more anxious as time passed by, while he and Rick fought to get through the doors to the small blonde. Not to mention, Carol was inside as well and she had been injured, all because he took her out on this search with him. Once Carol had returned, it was time for the moment of truth, and to see if Beth was really coming back. Carol, luckily, had been saved but the hesitation of Beth’s reveal made Daryl wonder if she was even alive.
As Rick exchanged words with the head of the group of officers inside Grady's walls; Daryl remained silent with his guard up and his gun in hand. He was ready to defend the others at any cost if he wasn't getting Beth back. Quietly, the archer watched the body language of others around him, noticing how Rick's back would tighten every other word to broaden his stance. How Noah had one foot pointed in the opposite direction, ready to run; in case this woman tried something. Yet when the light brown doors opened to reveal a few more officers, a doctor, and Beth - Daryl stood there shocked. His ocean blue hues widened as he watched Beth walk towards everyone, greeting them, as Rick concluded his discussion with the officer named Dawn.. Just knowing that Beth was okay made the man lower his gun and sigh with relief. For the first time, possibly ever, Daryl felt his body involuntarily begin to shake as tears of happiness and relief flooded his cheeks leaving them glistening. His body quivering slightly as he cried, unaware that Beth had moved forward, and his breath immediately hitched in his throat as he felt her wrap her arms around him softly. It was a simple gesture, a touch that was familiar and all her own, but one he didn’t realize he had missed so dearly until he felt it once more.
"I - uh - I, missed you," Daryl choked out, his words were barely audible to anyone other than possibly Beth. Daryl could hear Carol weeping from happiness in the background and he felt her hand gently pat his shoulder as it was time for them to leave. Daryl wiped the tears from his eyes, turning his head to look over his shoulder as all the officers and the one doctor walked away, while their own group headed for the opposite direction. "I'm sorry." he finally spoke up, after he calmed down from the feeling of such an emotional release breaking free from being bottled up, so deeply inside.
