“I got the groceries, but I couldn’t read the last thing on your list. Is this even close?”

“It’s too hot. Open a window or something.”

“Could you please grab me a drink while you’re up?”

“Here. Blankets. Since you won’t quit complaining about the cold.”

“Come here. You’re shivering.”

“There’s nothing we need to do today but relax. Why are you running around, exactly?”

“Thanks for taking care of the laundry.”

“Quiet down! I’m trying to read.”

“What are you working on?”

“It’s new. What do you think?”

“Sit down and let me do your hair.”

“I think it’s time for a new look. I want to help.”

“You want me to try on that?”

“Did you steal my shirt again?”

“I know I had three more in the fridge. You swear you don’t know where they went?”

“Don’t you think these flowers brighten the place up?”

“I made dinner. Your favorite.”

“You made some for me to eat, too? Thank you!”

“I couldn’t sleep either.”

“Let’s stay up and watch the stars.”

“I’ve got snacks!”

“Can we just sit here together?”

“This is nice. Quiet.”

Missy: Do you take requests?

Twelve: Sure.

                 BREATHE SONG. To say she was nervous was an understatement, her own phrases of years past haunting her now like some bloody poltergeist. I need to know who I am without you……I just need a little time, can you understand that? It had had been the most difficult she had ever done, letting him go. Letting that part of herself go. The woman she had been had clung to the Doctor too desperately to ever consider it. But she woman she had become? She had known how necessary it was. A clean slate. No Kovarian. No silence & no Doctor. 

“Hello River..”

Their separation had been sad, and he had gone and pouted for awhile with some friends he made before with his last face. They were otters, very welcoming and friendly otters. Good conversation. Good advice too! He has a button now that says IN OTTERS WE TRUST. It’s somewhere in his Tardis. 

She is trembling, she is afraid he will reject her. He’s thought about it, that is for certain. But he can’t. He won’t.

Buttoning up his final button on his shirt. And then adjusting his red velvet coat he gives her a very amused glare. 

Her smirk only grew at the compliment. The whole ‘intimidating man’ game was a lovely one, but it still wasn’t much more than a fantasy –usually. In other words, Missy would never be intimidated by the angry eyebrows; if anything, he amused her greatly every time he raised them, questioning her or even more. A naked, feline-like Missy –because that was what she was– rolled lazily to the end of the bed. There were just a few, thing red lines across the niveous skin of her back and tighs –don’t worry, the Doctor did receive a good amount of scratches on his back as well.

She grabbed his wrist harshly, demanding his attention.

“Don’t be a pig and kiss me goodbye, at the very least.”

The Doctor is yanked back towards the bed, and he follows easily. He is always such a sub for The Master. One knee on the bed as he uses his free hand to tangle in her hair. Yanking her head back and kissing her hungrily and passionately. Leaning down and growling into their kiss. Her naked form is so tempting. He could waste millions of years getting lost under the covers with her. Blanket forts on Gallifrey had always been bigger on the inside as well. He’s been meaning to make one, have a popcorn and movie night with Bill. 

Pulling from the kiss and he breaths a little heavy and leans his forehead against hers.
