Writing Prompts!

Hi, guys. I've been wanting to get this blog rolling for a while, but it never felt like the right time to do so. That said, one of the reasons I wanted to set this whole thing up was for people to submit prompts. Obviously, I've got two Kakairu fics that I'm nearly finished with, but I'd be more than happy to write short one-shots, headcanons, etc. in between.

Except, it is not a stranger sitting there with his back to him. The nape of his neck is one Kakashi knows well, his thick dark hair tied up in a neat and tidy fashion. Iruka.

I've got the next chapter for "What Is This I Can't See" pretty much completed, I'm just editing here and there. I want to make sure it's flowing together the way I want it to, which is such an annoying thing to think about. Pacing will be my greatest foe in life.

Turns out I'm sicker than I thought! I thought I had a cold, but it turns out it was a bacterial infection in these weak-ass lungs of mine. Finally found that out after being forced to go to the hospital against my will 🥲 So, I'm on some heavy duty antibiotics, and I can breathe better now.

I've nearly got chapter 3 edited to my liking for 'What Is This I Can't See,' and I've noticed how much I've enjoyed writing Kakashi and Iruka as older versions of themselves. I think the older I get, the more I relate to the adults in the series, in general, but considering what all those two characters have been through, getting to be tender with them is a nice change of pace. It's nice to write characters as healing and growing instead of hurting and maintaining.

I've nearly got Chapter 2 of 'What Is This I Can't See' edited, and I swear the universe is conspiring to get me fully back on the Kakairu train. I passed my last class, and my SO surprised me with an Iruka Funko Pop. Then he decides he doesn't remember Naruto that well, so now we're rewatching it.
