the space between us

Alhamdulillah. Alhamdulillah.

I am finally back to being a student, a medicine student, rather. Waited for two years to enter medschool and here I am welcoming what is in store for me in two weeks. Alhamdulillah.

I may not have been enrolled in my dream school but the school I am in is prestigious enough and yeah, costly enough, which is why I have to triple my efforts cause we don’t waste our parents’ money, we are not that kind of kids.

Plus, I am with my partner slash bb boy in that school. He’s in his Medicine 2 so I am very proud despite we are not in the same batch, I am still happy. Hopefully I will survive this online classes (despite its cons and disadvantages, lets look for the positivity it brings for our dreams). FIngers crossed! In shaa Allah. 

My journey to get the MD starts today.

it has been two days since I turned 22.

and two streaks my birthday was commemorated in the month of Ramadan. Alhamdulillah ala kulli haal. 

when i was still 21, i achieved my first work as being a community pharmacist. this expanded my skills in speaking, explaining, counselling and handling patients. but the wage was just low and my parents told me to proceed to medicine, so i took the NMAT and passed. also, i met the love of my life. yieeee double blessings!

and it’s 2020 and i am still in my early twenties, i have lots of dreams to achieve and becoming a medical doctor is one of it. this is why amidst the pandemic, if given the ultimate chance, i really want to enrol this school year (this has been in my frequent dua) and start my medlife journey.

i am also thankful, my family is still complete, we are complete in my birthday. that blessing was already the greatest gift i could ever ask for. second, my friends’ greetings were also appreciated and they were the sweetest (long paragraphs). third, how i miss my love who is miles away and at the other end of Mindanao yet he still greeted me and just talked a few minutes of how we missed each other so much. gosh, ily.

to sum it up, i prayed to Allah for good health, maturity, wiser in decision-making, strength, wisdom and everything that is good. ameeen. may our prayers this month be fulfilled.
