I was thinking last night about how Toki being into building model airplanes or coloring books, to me, serve well to the sentiment of Toki trying to escape being infantilized and associated with childlike things.

And you’d THINK i’d feel the opposite since… coloring books? Considerably a childish thing. First off, characters are allowed to be multifaceted, thank you. Second off, i think him being into those things could take the idea further and say these hobbies aren’t inherently childish. And a grown man can be taken seriously while engaging with these hobbies and it could’ve been utilized as Toki, rather than alienating himself from these things that he enjoys since they’re considered childish, accepting that these things aren’t an indicator of immaturity or a reason for him to be taken any less seriously than the rest of his bandmates.

Anyway. Nathan is 39, Murderface is 40 and I think their birthdays aren’t too far apart from one another so Nathan clowns Mf for turning 40 when he will be in the same position mere months later

Toki is 34, Skwisgaar is 36; Toki goes Haha Skwisgaars yous gonna bes an old mans soon! Skwisgaar is completely sure he’s gonna be a silver fox so he doesn’t care.

He frequents r/dethklok, curled over his computer typing away a tangent about how he should be credited and compensated for any creative crumb he provided Dethklok during his time with them.

He’s pestering randoms on public transport about how he was in the worlds biggest death metal band, but they’ve wronged him inconsolably, or so he claims, and throws in a “you should buy my solo music” for good measure

We obviously know they’re both into sci-fi and superhero comics, especially considering the whole mandalorian action figure situation. But HOW OFTEN do we even see Bill talking about comics.

JOSH’S BOXES ON BOXES ON BOXES OF COMIC COLLECTIONS? JOSH WILLING TO RISK IT FOR THE BISCUIT BREAKING OPEN THOSE BREAD PACKAGES FOR THE COLLECTABLE BATMAN FOREVER TWO-FACE CARD?? HAVING A BREAKDOWN OVER NOT GETTING TO SEE IT IN THEATERS? NOT TO MENTION HIM… TAKING A LIKING, WE’LL SAY, TO SUPERBOY… BWAYNE172…?

Of COURSE there are instances of him taking a liking to sci-fi with the Captain Kirk journal logging thing he does while he’s grounded I’m totally sure he’s super into that as well.
