Is there any system you use for coloring or are you just go with the flow whatever looks nice?

I can't color what so ever so any sort of awnser would be great!!

I usually stick closer to greys when picking out my base colours then sticking to the brighter/general darker version of colour(s) for my shading so the end product pops more

I shift the colour wheel itself for a strong colour difference and make sure the colours themselves don't blend together easily (like in B&W) for a better contrast

This is just what works for me as im still self-learning. Sometimes I just colour pick and slap Multiply on because im lazy lol but I hope it helps!
