Here are 5 highlights of lore bc I completely gave up on this au (part 1)

All of the bys kids who are headless or are only a pair of hands are not conscious and are (almost) completely harmless before they fuse with other infected people (headless bys kids are similar to that, but are not harmless)

Dante's entire body (with the exception of eyes & mouth have been replaced with hair

Reese's parasite would've been extremely depressed because, unlike its other hosts, who were animals, it would have too much brain and would be extremely aware of everything.

Maria lost her 2 arms from surgery

Kimmy only felt physically numb everywhere instead of having the regular symptoms someone with...now that I think about it, I don't think I put much thought into what these infections/viruses/parasites are, or even if they have anything in common. I guess this is just a collection of infections/whatever is going on. Also, Kimmy can not fuse with her other body parts for some reason
