THERE WAS NO DEADLINE, NO EXPIRATION DATE - ONCE FAMILY, ALWAYS FAMILY. Insecurity with nostalgic hints, tied the past and the expectant future together; almost matching the certainty of what could have been expected of her. There was something about going full-circle, although she didn't quite feel secure under those new high-standards placed over her shoulders - after all, wearing the crown that belonged to her elder sister, alongside her colors and even her own lasso, ... which could quickly escalate and become overwhelming when sparing a thought. There is no one else who could do it better than be if not you, or achieve even further... That's what Diana had said, with her steady guidance and belief; settling down the feeling of despair inside Donna's chest quite easily for the remaining of the last week until it became real. Real to the point she had survived a meeting with League members and a trinity one posterior to that.

In her core, Donna Troy was the living and breathing embodiement of what Wonder Woman was - her sister having raised her as such.

The Watchover wasn't uncharted territory. Quite nostalgic, a fantastic place to be and explore, but it felt nothing like home - Titans Tower, back in San Francisco. It lacked warmth, something she couldn't place for certain. It wasn't supposed to feel like home, though. It was strict work, business or whatever one could expect. There were inside jokes, humor and bonding - none she was a part of, except... The voiced echoed behind her made the princess turn her heels around, azure hues sparkling at the sight of red; Wally West, you were a life saver and an welcoming breath of fresh air for the woman who was acting nearly mechanical the whole evening so far.

THE FIRST COUPLE OF MONTHS POST DETOX ARE HARDER THAN THE INITIAL STEP OF GETTING CLEAN. It was about patience, trusting the process and working harder to get there with all the support one could gather from loved ones - Donna Troy knew of the schedule and routes like the back of her hands by now, something carefully crafted and kept in rotation with her and Dinah's life schedule; because despite what could've been argued, there was a legal and rightfull need of an actual adult being responsable for peperwork wise and proprer providing. yet she made an argument to be present, to be needed - because her boyfriend needed her... and romance ties aside, the ginger was also one of her best friends before becoming a couple. shame on Dick Grayson for turning his back, her disappointment with her friend was written all across her facade - alongside the rest of the teen titans that couldn't be bother to see things through the viciouis veil of addiction.

First of all, Roy would fight against it. Second, he would save himself. Third, he was getting his life back.

A bullet list they wrote and glued to his bedroom at Dinah's nearly two months prior to today's date. Something she was quite proud to stare at, even at those days - the "Roy woke up struggling with his mental state and I'm the one to burn down every single negative thought days". SHARING A CUP OF HERBAL TEA, A NOSTALGIC SORT OF KIND FROM PARADISE ISLAND. It is foundly recalled, a sort of habit one attempts to keep up with while properly cultivating the right herbs used nurtured in store - hence the small garden in the backyard of her house, where she would attempt to tend after at least once a week. Rosting family and offering a cup of her childhood seemed fitting, not to mention it was one of the fewer things she could actually make from strach that involved the topic cooking. Donna never shyed away from the fact she was no expert in cooking, in fact she found herself not being able to retain the proper coordination or skills when cooking was involved. Tea, however, was a science she found herself quite delighted to prepare over and over again. Some would kill for a coffee throughout the day or evening, but her? Hand her several mugs of tea, she will adore you forever.

Cassandra Sandsmark was, first and foremost, her niece. Beloved and cherished, the one Donna had bestowed the mantle of Wonder Girl - which had been rightfully honored and protected as if properly written in the stars. She busied herself around the kitchen, setting a pair of mugs above the countertop, one for each, cointaing a generous portion of Mountain Tea  a taste from Themyscira; a nod to their heritage.
