If the Catholic Church is going to survive this century it needs to purge every clergy member who thinks Islam and Christianity are brother faiths. The God of Muhammad (piss upon him) is a rapist, pedophiliac "God" of perpetual war and violent atrocity. The teachings of the Koran are directly opposed to the teachings of Christ. Islam is a death cult invented by a pedophile bandit. It's a rabid dog let loose within the walls of civilization--a civilization built by Christians and founded on Christian morals. Any clergy member, from the lowest priest right on up to the Pope, has a moral and religious duty to protect and defend Christians and Christianity against Islam. Anyone preaching appeasement or pluralism or syncretism or brotherhood with Islam is actively selling out the Christian faith, the Christian faithful, and the Christian God.

We're already in a Holy War, genius. One that's been going since Islam was invented by a pedophile bandit 1400 years ago. Islam's goal is to convert or kill the entire world. That's why it was invented. That's its only reason for existing. That's why they attack us and blow themselves up and swarm across our borders and set up Sharia enclaves. Ignoring this is cultural and civilizational suicide.
