The boys are back in town.
Sonic huffs as he sits up from the crater he created. The impact with solid ground leaves him winded as he sits up.
Knuckles: Exactly as planned huh?
The hedgehog chuckles only to groan. Mud covered gloves clutching at his abdomen.
Sonic: Ow, ow. Nope, no laughing. Definitely broke a rib.
The echidna sighs as he bends down to help the hedgehog out of the crater.
Sonic: I owe you one.
He grins at Knuckles rolling his eyes.
Knuckles: I'll put it on your tab.

“If I’ve learned anything from watching mystery thrillers, it’s to always check the trash.” Barry comments from beside Miles.
The fox pauses in his search and turns to the quokka confused, “What?”
Barry continues excitedly, “Think about it! When someone wants to hide the evidence the first thing they do is find a place they think no one would look.” The quokka points to the full trash can. “Afterall, who would want to look through a dirty bin?”
“I-,” Miles holds his tongue considering the idea, “you’ve got a point, even though you seem more than willing to.” Miles points out as he continues his search.
“H-hey! Someone could save the world by looking through rubbish bins!”
Barry pouts as they move deeper into the train car.
Miles teases, “You’ve been watching too much tv.”
Sonic: I don’t think they’ll take ‘gotta go fast’ as a medical excuse. Miles continues his typing as he scrolls through various web pages. Miles: No, but there are several medical conditions that it falls under. Like something as simple as restless leg syndrome. But it could also be something akathisia or hurry sickness. Your need to constantly move is probably a side effect of your speed. There's a need to always move and when you are unable to, it causes psychological and neurological issues that- Sonic: Oookay. He lifts the fox from his chair to disrupt him. Sonic: As insightful as this has been. It's also unsettling and I’d like for it to stop. No more internet for today. Miles squawks as he struggles in the hedgehog's arms.

First off, Gemerl has hips and no one is talking about it.
Second of all, I had a fun time with this, but I still haven't figured out what the band should be called. Reformed Robots? Rusted Renegades? The Repercussions?
There's a joke in there somewhere.
Anyway,. The song they're playing is Egg Reverie Zone - Sonic Mania. It's what inspired me to draw this the first time I heard it, a year ago, but we're not talking about that.
