So… haven’t posted for a while as I’ve been CRAZY busy for a few years getting involved with an historic UK events company so apologies… more to come on that soon but wanted to really highlight this as it’s something I’m both honoured and proud to have been asked to do. So before I started djing in 1998 I was always fascinated with music, I bought vinyl, listened to vinyl, I used to stay up till 2am to record and listen @bbcradio1 @bbcessentialmix on 90 minute cassettes (I still have all the cassettes) from around 1995 onwards. I remember one year I was playing football for a local football team called Daisy Hill and one of the lads on the team had a brother that was a DJ. So naturally I was intrigued and so I asked if I could come round see what he had? Unfortunately the brother wasn’t in but had said it was ok for me to have a look. That brother was a guy I ended up djing with quite frequently in Andy Nic Anyway he had this album and to this day it stuck in my head. I borrowed the cassette of the album to listen to and eventually bought the cd. Anyway 22 years later managed to be able to get it for my birthday. As 2019 shuts its doors this track will stay with me as being synonymous with the year. Arguably the most popular and original House track of the year.

Originally released in July, just in time for summer and MY GOD was it a huge success. On its original release it was released with the downtempo, but equally beautiful track ‘Home’ that then set the bar for the summer.

Since then there has been remixes by Mousse T and Nightmares On Wax and ever more recently and included here is the Edit by the legend that is Danny Krivit. Who just takes the original and makes the original version even better and gives it a little extension.

Easily my favourite track of the year ❤️

I regard being one of The Temple in Bolton’s resident djs between 1998-2001 as one of my best periods of time as a DJ. I learned a lot from the other djs there about how to warm up properly, how to hold a crowd and other djs like Pat Drury, Jay Floyd and Tony Walker has a massive influence on me as a DJ.
