Thank God! A place to chuck all my excess wibblings, rantings, random thoughts, nonsensical snatches of STUFF from my hyperactive brain... In particular, I look forward to cathartically puking up my feelings of DISGUST about the career I cannot escape from - a vocation that has stalked me for thirty years, like a spurned lover, deranged, psychotic and unstoppable... I grew out of heavy metal many years ago, my tastes evolving and expanding into an eclectic rainbow of techno, house, dub step, reggae, psytrance, classical and many other beautiful sounds... But, again and again, that loud, thundering neanderthal din crashes into my life and drags me by the hair back to its lair. I've made four serious attempts to escape: 1. I shouted and insulted my editor and got fired (hurrah!) 2. I left the country 3. I went to University and hid myself behind piles of books 4. became obsessed with flower-arranging, butterflies and all things that heavy metal despises. I have no choice but to succumb...(for now)...as the worst possible fate has befallen me: I am the Editor of MetalTalk.net!!! Prisoner, lifer, I am doomed for eternity to a life of heavy metal journalism....h-e-l-p....
