IT WAS A DANGEROUS question, one that opened him up to say something and have it turned against him, her possibly getting a chance to poke at what he considered not boring, “anything but mackenzie, it sounds like some daft bubble gum type of girl. and, from what i’ve picked up, you’re far from the type.” dax said easily, smirk tugging on the corner of his lips, voice smooth and low as he continued to toy with this, “and here you were calling me a catfish, reina. truly turning tables against me.” he hummed, watching as her fingers moved across the woven leather of his wallet, but still not worried, dax knew that at the end of the day he didn’t keep any of his real valuables in that thing. credit cards, some petty cash, his id, that’s about it. she surveyed his drivers license, which was his american one that was laid over his korean one, nose scrunching at the sound of his full name. “so what i’m gathering here is that…you find me attractive? i’ve had people use my pictures before, but, this is the real me. sorry it wasn’t some weird forty year old lady….” his brows pushed together though whenever she said his bio didn’t help, head falling to the side, “what do you mean???”

an expression of understanding on her face, she nodded along as he listed all the qualities he’d expect in a mackenzie. “well, thank you, i will certainly have to tell my sister mackenzie about this.” she replied with a devilish grin. obviously, she had no sister named mackenzie, at least to her own knowledge but she had realized she rather enjoyed teasing him. she continued her exploration of his wallet, looking through it and laughing a little at his assumption. “yeah, sure you’re attractive. you know, in a pretty boy kind of way.” she replied with a shrug, waving her hand in the general direction of his face. there was probably hardly anyone who would actually deny that. “and i think i’ll be okay, as long as we can order some food because i’m actually rather hungry.” with a smile, she placed the wallet in front of him again, though not before she had swiped one of his credit cards. it wasn’t even truly because she had plans to keep it but rather because she wanted to see whether he’d realize. “oh, it just sounds very generic, you know? makes it appear as if you either have the personality of a bread crumb or are a catfish.” 

a light laugh escapes ines’ lips as reina complains about how much caffeine she needs, the gesture only adding to how amusing the blonde finds the situation. the need for caffeine being one that was unfamiliar to her, relying on sugar to get her through the day. ines’ definition of a cup of coffee being adding enough sugar or sweetener along with cream in order to get rid of the taste of coffee. “i’ll be sure to remember that.” cheeks flush as the girl winks at her. taking her hand, she gets ups as she smiles at reina. “lead the way.”
