“we accept the love we think we deserve.” and sometimes i feel like you’re the only thing i do you make my inner soul fidget so bad that even my outer body can never but react i’m nervous when i’m around you yet seeing you is a bliss i’m at my best when i’m around you yet sometimes you seem to hiss if my best doesn’t suffice, i’d create a whole being out of the blue yes i love you, and sometimes i hate you sometimes you’re all i think about, sometimes all i want to do is run away i fear your presence yet i crave your touch i crave the moment we collide it’s a sin; a miserable kaleidoscope of tangled words and empty breaths a frightful flight of birds fleeing some dragon they conceived lurking between the branches of another world they call the forest the forest where we once escaped to that same one that scrapped who we are to the core and threw us out naked. empty… distant we found ourselves tumbling outside the grips of the ocean two beings worn out and sleepless none ready to admit there’s a way out of the tight grip this life has on us and sometimes, during hours of the moon where love and serenity lay hand in hand i lay wondering how we always end up hurting each other so bad that i end up fighting for yet another breath and you end up drunk and lonely i used to find life in you; i saw the ocean as it is in your eyes, even though they are the brown the earth was the day we met i’d still let you mess me up if somehow i can get a promise we’ll be okay eventually but you can’t promise and i’m worried if i leave, you’d take is as a cue to creep back in just to mess me up again.
