Scented Saturday : Caron : Narcisse Noir : Eau de Cologne : STUNNING! 🤩 I rarely get this out, but it’s been pestering my memory for awhile now. It’s a perfect version for summer. Wisps of orange blossom permeate the breeze with a darker rose and sprinkles of narcissus looming in the middle. The dry down is much more subdued than other formulations with a bit more focus on sandalwood.

Scented Saturday : Montana : Suggestion Pour Lui : GORGEOUS! Montana is one house that has NEVER had a miss. This one even has a grapefruit note that actually doesn’t make me cringe! It starts out citrus/fruity with fresh somewhat aquatic (but not quite) undertone and then leads into glorious florals with a wonderful gardenia lilac combo that’s pretty unique 😍. The dry down is a clean white musk with a hint of amber and vetiver overshadowed by jasmine. Another hit for Montana. 👍🏽

Scented Saturday : Montana : Parfum de Peau : Summer : A glorious take on the original with an added overdose of Iris and Frangipani. Simply marvelous. Thankfully, it retains the same glorious base minus the animalics of the far vintage version. However, the absence is of little consequence (as unbelievable as that may sound coming from me)! Be still my heart…this is a love.

Scented Saturday : Joop : Le Bain : 1989 called and wants it’s glory back. Bitch, it got it. This is AMAZING. Heliotropic vanilla perfection with frills that thrill and sooth simultaneously. Gorgeous.

Scented Saturday : Antonia's Flowers : ROKKA : I’m glad I picked this one up many years ago. It’s a very pleasant violet floral with a lovely nutmeg throughout with a velvet smooth woody amber finish and the most lovely little patchouli peaking around. Very nice.

Scented Saturday : Armani Privè : New York : Another one that’s been neglected by me for nearly a decade. This is LOVELY X 10! It is absolutely one of my favorite ambrette/white tea scents ever. The frankincense and white musk in the base…Omg, yes, yes, yes. I don’t regret for one second grabbing this one despite the hefty price tag back in the day.

Scented Saturday : Guerlain : Place Rouge : I love this and don’t regret for a second the price I paid for this many years ago. The nostalgia in it is absolutely nuts on many different levels. It harkens me back to better times. This is the first time I’ve opened the bottle in at least 7 or 8 years. Absolutely gorgeous…If not more so now than then. 🇷🇺 🇫🇷 👃🏼 ❤️

Scented Saturday : Mugler : Angel Elixir : Still playing catch up with this house. The verdict on this one is a LOVE (believe it or not)! Everything mixes and flows beautifully and the hefty white floral note throughout is gorgeous. I really like this much more than I expected!

Scented Saturday : Caron : Tubéreuse Merveilluese : Keeping on my Caron kick and giving this one another whirl. This one perplexes me. I don’t hate it, but I certainly don’t like it either. I can simply say I don’t mind it. I think it will fit the Derby Day parties today nicely though.

I'm looking forward to the new recently released reiteration by Jean Jacques on my door step. I hope the vibe isn’t destroyed. We shall see. 🤞🏼

Scented Saturday : Caron : L’Invisible Qui Luit : I’m going to have to say that this is a hit. It’s classic cologne, but it performs exquisitely. I’ll be reaching for this quite a bit. I just wish it had some skank. 🤗

Scented Saturday : Caron : Nocturnes : CF : My love of Caron is never ever ending. This is a masterpiece. Absolutely stunning in every way as far as I am concerned. It’s not only a joy to wear, but, moreover, an honour. ❤️
