It's from the Pink Granite Coast on the northern coast of Britany, France.

It's pink because the felspath is altered.

Sainte Victoire, my beloved 😔i would die for you, sweetheart.

The Sainte Victoire is a mountain next to Aix en Provence in the South East of France, where i grew up.

I took the first picture during my last afternoon hike with my mom before i left the south of France after high school. The second picture was taken this christmas out of my train window.

I'm very emotionally attached to it, it's my childhood mountain. I could see it from my high school and from my village everyday. Now i only see her at christmas.

It's mostly jurassic limestone.
