I have a to-do list written out on paper of all the regular spirits and past season guides I have yet to get everything from. I play with the Sky Clock open in a second smaller tab. I calculate in advance for getting cosmetics for upcoming seasons and events. This is normal skykid behavior.

I am down to be sky friends but! Disclaimer if you plan to join me! I have a one-track mind if I haven’t finished my dye and candle runs for the day. I take my 15 candles sorta seriously. Especially on weekdays.

Semi-important: for irl reasons I go afk sorta frequently while playing. So me being online ≠ actually being in game.

Formulating my thoughts better.

Van Gogh cut off his ear (or part of it) on December 23rd, 1888. In the Dear Van Gogh trailer, there is a shot with five of his paintings, using the Starry Night painting as a background. Three of the paintings I know for certain were painted after he cut his ear. The Starry Night was painted while he was in a mental hospital and depicts the view from his room there. Almond Blossoms was also made in that same hospital. So why does the model shown in the trailer have both ears. Especially since the one on the right of the first image turns into crows, a reference to Wheatfield with Crows, which again was painted after he cut his ear.

1. The aviary update. I don’t like it. I’d already moved to home (btw the way to home from aviary is now semi hidden? Wtf??) but I took a look around and: the boat to the carnival is hidden behind a wall, it’s on the Eden side of things? Odd.

Also the removal of the entry straight into the collab room. Wowee more ease of access gone. Before aviary felt like it was built as things were needed, all the space available used, culminating at the portals. And Eden being between the portals made sense. It’s the end so to speak of your journey, but you do need to go there. Hence everything kind of pointing you there. Now it feels like the Eden portal was built last and you’re just not supposed to go there? They even removed the land connecting the portal to the rest of aviary? Before Eden was like. Ominously ever-present. Because yknow, we all return to Eden and all that, that’s the cycle. You’re meant to go there, it’s a part of Sky. Now it really doesn’t. Feels like an overall odd decision made with the effort of dragging people out of Home and into aviary. Which. Nah.

2. Both Journey capes/packs can now be only purchased in the office. Which. Dare I say borderline predatory. Because you’re locking those iaps behind ANOTHER iap. It increases the fomo in the moment because either you need someone else to help you get to them or you buy the office cape while you’re there. Hate that. Very much dislike. And before anyone points it out I am aware the office is open during certain events. Still. It’s just making something more difficult when it doesn’t have to be.

3. The friendship system rework. Ruins the tone of the hug in Eden

is the cosplay recognizable for any of these.

So I waaaas going to make something more rhythm themed or maybe something whimsical but. I was looking at my masks and thought “yknow what would be cool” so
