What we aim to do is make an encyclopedia website but only for disordered systems, which means anything made by and for endogenic systems, willogenic systems, and tulpagenic systems will never be added.

It will be similar to pluralpedia, but again it's gonna be all made by disordered systems. The roles, info, xenoroles.. Everything! :)

I will try my best to return to answering asks! They will be very slow since I still have personal mental problems I’m going through and now I’m going through some physical problems.

Sorry for not answering asks lately, I've been tired and stressed from some personal issues that I am not comfortable discussing. The discord server is being worked on but the progress of that is slow.

I can confirm as someone with astigmatism i mostly use dark mode but sometimes it's hard to ignore, though because of some sites being designed with only dark mode in mind are sadly very common nowadays, their light mode toggles will make these sites look terrible because of things like contrast issues making the site look worse so in cases like these i am forced to use only dark mode (the biggest example i can think of with this is discord 💀 as someone who studied graphic design for 3 years i could go on over all the things that bother me about discord's light mode but i would end up ranting forever and this blog is not for that 😭😭)

I'd say??? Light mode looks way more jarring with more minimalist sites? I'm rambling at this point so i apologize, but yeah what I'm trying to say just having the option to pick a theme helps a lot, and that if you're going to have both themes please make sure the colors look alright for both themes 🙏🙏 srry if this ask comes off as annoying im sleep deprived and i got a headache, I promise im not trying to come off as mean spirited

Also if you're taking suggestions for themes maybe you could do a high contrast mode as well, pretty sure that would be appreciated by some

tldr: stances aside, pluralpedia lacks good management and the website suffers because of it and defending it purely because its older seems odd.

I know you'll get to both eventually, and this is just a "what will you start with" thing, but I would still like to point out that light/dark mode isn't just an aesthetic thing. So.. here's some extra pros-and-cons

Light Mode: This is the standard for a reason, and some studies suggest that it may actually be better for overall legibility (particularly when dealing with smaller font sizes). It's also supposedly better for some with astigmatism.

Dark Mode: Not purely for aesthetics, contrary to popular opinion among website makers. Light mode has increased light dispersion, which can make seeing harder for some visually impaired people, and there's also something to say about light and PWM sensitivity.

Also, for both, please consider contrast! Apparently high contrast between text-and-background is better for some dyslexics.
