Signing up for virtual races

Due to what’s happening in the world out there, more and more “in person” races are being canceled. Some races are moving the dates to the fall season and some are offering virtual events.

Last month, I signed up for run through Aravaipa running. When signing up, you could pick from a 5k and all the way to 100 miles. I chose to do the 10k since that’s about what I’m running on the weekends…

Phoenix 10k race report

Family Road trip-Lake Havasu to Vegas

For our family vacation this year, we wanted to do something else besides Disney. We thought Disneyland would be so busy because of Star Wars Land (it wasn’t) and we are planning Disneyworld for January so we decided to do a family road trip on the west coast. When we planned out we thought we’d go through Lake Havasu to see the London Bridge then go on to Vegas to visit my family for a night.

Disney Marathon Weekend: Go Goofy or Dopey???

After finishing Disney’s marathon weekend 2019, I thought that I was done running all four races for the Dopey medal. I love a good race-cation, but when I’m doing dopey and getting up at 2am four mornings in a row, it can be a little exhausting.  I thought doing this race 3 times was enough and now just focus on the 10k and the marathon, and maybe work on getting a  better marathon time.
