i probably won't keep it up but i made an Elder Scrolls RP blog bc i've been obsessed w Oblivion and Skyrim lately

just a heads up, nobody talks about ed eating soap because when ofmd was big this one-off joke got spun out into fanfics and comics about ed needing to be taught what soap is by stede, and 'brown guy needs to learn personal grooming from white guy' is shitty and racist. it's generally assumed ed means 'yummy smelling' as he obviously knows about soap as he does seem to value tidiness. (points out how grubby stede's crew is, doesn't want pets making a mess on the ship, immediately starts cleaning the first time he tries to pull himself out of post-breakup despair.)(plus just always has immaculate hair + beard) so yeah 'ed eats soap' is a fandom sore spot because fans got racist.
