Why do the clones/copies/minions of the "one-winged angel" wear an emblem with what looks like an angel with two wings?

It's really funny to think Vincent might've once had beef with a toddler.

But there's also been hints that although there's multiple timelines, those timelines can converge again because there's only one Planet. The Ever Crisis anniversary showed that even though there are many "stories" (timelines) they're all connected in the lifestream. If there's only one Planet, and there's only one lifestream, it's reasonable to think that there's only one Omega, only one protomateria, and only one Chaos.

Which means Vincent may remember fighting--and getting his ass whipped by--Sephiroth in other timelines he's connected to through Chaos.

Just realized that Jenova is portrayed here with two wings. Jenova, which I'm not sure but I think originally came from "Jehovah," the Hebrew name of God.

The Sefirot are the ten emanations of God, the energies through which god reveals itself. Much like Jenova is revealed through multiple Sefirot (Sephiroth clones/copies).

Anyway, I believe in Revelation, it's God (Jehovah/Jenova, two wings) who states "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end" (one, split into two).

Long ago, a shadow fell upon our planet. Guided by Calamity, one man sought dominion through Reunion. By his will, a star fell: a meteor, called forth to bring ruin to all. But our planet answered...awakening mighty weapons to stand against the celestial threat. (extreme past tense...this all happened long ago. Trailer shows Sephiroth and meteor.)

Now, hope endures in those who fight. (Present tense: occurring now. Trailer shows Cloud & co. on the Highwind.)

This could very well just be Nanaki telling the story five hundred years later, referencing Sephiroth and Cloud's fight against him as having happened in the distant past, and the "now hope endures" line simply meaning that they won and the present world of 500 years in the future is hopeful.
