Anyways, here I come up with another fanart, this time as a redraw of Captain Hook from one of the scenes fron the 1953's "Peter Pan"! Drew him in my art style, and just look how gorgeous this fine piece of a man is <3

A Sketch I did while looking at how I approach drawinf him. ( I realized I forgot the other side of his mustache. Again.😅 Not that important for me. It’s just the final touch.)

I think the key lies in how you analyze the rough sketches of Captain Hook. You can see how the animators used the shapes and lines , and where and when they applied them.

Also, if you understand how the head skeleton and the male anatomy looks like, it becomes much easier to draw him.

Even in this character sheet of Hook, he is based on fairly standard anatomical proportions.
