Hi there 😊 so I've always been a fan of Disney and one day I said "what the heck, I'm gonna apply!" and I did (as a normal cast member by the not college program). Within a couple hours I received an email for an online interview which basically translates to the personality test a lot of jobs give you. After I took the test it was about 4 days later when I received another email to schedule an in person interview, I was ecstatic! My husband got an interview for the same day as well. We drove down to Casting and waited in the waiting area while they played Princess & the Frog dress in our "Sunday best". The interview itself was about 20 minutes and it's basically them just feeling out your personality and if you really are a good fit for the job. They informed me that I would have to cover my tattoos and let me know they had a merchandise opening even though I applied for attractions. They gave me an option in each park (which doesn't always happen so don't go in expecting to get to choose but maybe you'll get lucky!). The option for Magic Kingdom happened to be full time so that was definitely the job I wanted! They gave me instructions to go do my finger prints and take my cast picture for my ID and do some stuff on a computer and once that was all over with then I got an intro packet and was told when to be at Traditions to be brought into the world of Disney! I hope this gave you an idea of how easy it can be to get the job of dreams and I hope you go out there and get it! Disney is yours for the taking!!
