sometimes i notice someone's writing in the pages of a library book, or the receipt they used as a bookmark, or the way they folded the corners of some pages, or even the lines they highlighted and i end up falling a bit in love with a stranger

stop FUCKING telling people that no one will love them untill they love themselves. stop shoving this idea down everyone’s throat that they are unworthy of love because of their own struggle.

I guess I could be productive and responsible but where's the fun in that?

Nothing will ruin your 20’s more than thinking you should have your life together already.

Shoutout to all those kids who were praised and encouraged when they wanted to be marine biologists and surgeons and physicists and wanted to cure diseases or go into politics, only to meet radio silence when they decide to be writers or artists, to study human behavior and become therapists or actors. The softer pursuits are only softer because society says they are so, and you are important. You deserve to be heard, and encouraged, and praised, and I hope you are.
