Turns out he had a girlfriend unbeknownst to me so I didn’t talk to him for like a year but then he started coming to see my band and the resemblance was so uncanny I was like yo let’s run it back

But then he started doing a shit ton of psychedelics and lost his marbles like deep psychosis or some bs and shaved his head

Like I get a lot of authors basically self insert as like a way to cope with their loneliness ( hey no judgment there ) ( been there done that )

But like this makes the story boring and the same tropes come up over and over again of y/n being pathetic and awkward and needing to be saved and oh her boyfriend is super cool rich mysterious and famous while she stays at home crying watching anime like enough is enough

I feel like if y/n was cooler than her partner and a talented artist who chain smoked and liked to be spontaneous and had good style and music taste it would be a lot more exciting to read

Also I literally cannot read fics with a loser y/n because it’s so unrelatable. Like fym MY name ? I would never do that hell nah
