Ok so I’ve been going back and forth about blogging about my own adventures. So aside from my pictures, videos and other memes that I blog, I decided to write about the things I hate... you are probably saying, “Yeah this could be a repeat of some things he copied.”  *Shrugs* who cares!!! We all tend to copy and repeat something we’ve heard or seen.

So my Sundays are usually filled with lounging around either folding clothes which I surprisingly can’t figure out at my age, watching TV and getting ready for some... Basketball.  I’m playing in about 2 recreation leagues at the moment and the talent level is a rollercoaster, it has it high and definitely it’s lows.  Picturing how I’m going to play or what shot is gonna be difficult  but I’m gonna shoot because I don’t see a bad shot ever... shout out to my guy Earl aka Junior.  So this particular Sunday, I’m running late, rushing out the house just to make the tipoff, and I walk in the gym and the game before us is still playing.  COOL!!! So i got time to stretch out and zone out for a minute but I have to scan for my teammates.  My team changes more than the supply chain at Hollywood Beauty so I’m saying to myself, what makeshift team we have today?  

So we get to the part that I really hate now.  You know it’s always that one person who tries to talk to you when your favorite song comes on the radio or when you are listening to the playlist through the headphones and they try to talk to you and you give them the wide eye “What the hell you say?”  Yeah I have one of those teammates.  Look, he’s just one of them players who relives the glory days way too much, probably has old VHS tapes where the tracking is hella bad but still manages to see some fancy play he probably made.  Naw bro, throw that whole highlight of a tape AWAY!  So he’s talking to me while the game is going on and I’m saying to myself, is he playing for the other team cause he’s throwing my focus off when I’m trying to stay in front of little J.J. Barea.  Dude rapping about his glory days on the court and I’m like, “This much lying can’t be tolerated on the Sabbatical!”  All that talking made me zone out from the game and just give him the ball so he could “Filllay” his ass back into some memories that probably never happened.  

We won and he comes over and says the usual “Good game” and I reply back “Good Talk” and it confused the hell out of him.  I simply smiled and continued my after game stretch. Yeah I hate when you try to instant replay shit when it really didn’t matter. The next game was about to start and one team was short and they asked me to play, sure why not, maybe I can shoot the actual game shots I wanted to without NBA Hardwood Classics not talking my ear off. Back to basketball bliss for me.
