A smile crossed his face upon hearing the other's tone, and because the last name was somewhat familiar though he'd never met one of the Joestars personally.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Jojo. You may call me Loreto. I'll be sure to keep the suggestion of remembering your name in mind. You never know who has connections to whom anyway." Loreto's tone was quite light and friendly as he spoke.
Connections? What the hell is this guy on about? "Right, you have a fair point there." He seemed friendly enough. But unless he had heard his name from somewhere, Joseph wasn't sure how else he might have guessed he has some sort of connections to anyone.
As far as the average person was aware, he was just some young playboy from New York who lived off his Granny's estate as a British immigrant. Which, true, the Joestars had money thanks to his late grandfather. But even so, there had been no real indication beyond that that he was anything other than the name sake of his grandfather.
