me [thinking]: oh i’m fine except for the fact that i lose sleep thinking about the part in the last episode of The Terror where Thomas Jopson, abandoned to die alone, desperately crawls out of his tent and hallucinates dragging himself across a dinner table full of food toward Francis Crozier, A DINNER TABLE FULL OF FOOD, food that he pUSHES OUT OF HIS WAY TO GET TO FRANCIS, who he definitely loved in some capacity and who he was probably maybe in love with, because he was dYING OF STARVATION, but he didn’t care one bit about the hallucinated food, he just wanted to get to Francis, Francis who was looking away from him, which indicates to me that he thinks Francis abandoned him, but he didn’t, he WOULDN’T EVER. he wouldn’t abandon any of them, but especially not sweet Thomas who deserved so much better than to starve to death, cold and alone, thinking his dear friend abandoned him, it’s literally the most haunting and heartbreaking scene in a show full of haunting and heartbreaking scenes, and I cannot handle it

I did not intend to join this fandom but damn it has grabbed me with its cold dead hands and dragged me into its frozen firehole of angst, cold boys and fix-its.
