I feel sorry for her ‘cause, to me, this is her first time actually having to play for real.

Thought I would catch you up 'cause I've been pretty much AWOL for most of the year. Stress will do that to a person. I'm *finally* watching Season 5! Yay! Due to the imploding of my life last year, I didn't get into the season (even though I had been excited for it) but now that I'm more settled into being single again I'm in a binge-watching mood! Gonna attempt to watch the entire season before my son is here again (a few days). Then I'm going to catch up on some fangirling. 😊 (omg ep 5, dying at the Nick x Schmidt marriedness) On a personal level, I'm doing just fine now. I'm with my son several times a week and we've had lots of fun together this summer going camping, to the movies and swimming (he's handling this transition pretty well all told, and is still my little snuggle bug). 😍 I went out dancing with the girls the other night for the first time in at least a decade. It was weird but super fun (flashbacks to college, omg). Some random dude ran up, kissed me then called me beautiful and disappeared. Had to fend off grinding gropers on the dance floor but had fun bouncing around the rest of the time. And just so you know, my ex has been monitoring this account for shit to use against me (the ass) so this is no longer my safe place and I will be closing this account and starting over again sometime soon. Url suggestions (via PM, please) from trusted sources (basically mutuals) are welcome. I'll use this url for fangirling for a little while but will change it as soon as I can. I feel this on a deep, almost spiritual, level. My kid is obsessed with Thomas and I have watched every episode of this show many many times. I sing the freaking theme songs at work, for crying out loud. "They're 2, they're 4, they're 6, they're 8. Shunting trucks and hauling freight. Red and green and brown and blue, they're a really useful crew..." I nearly died watching this send up. Gods bless you, Neil Patrick Harris.

Ash vs Evil Dead just freaked me the hell out. Two more episodes. How much ya wanna bet they're both set at the fucking cabin? Fucking cabin. I'm gonna die. Or have nightmares. Or both.

Update: yup. I was right. RIP Amanda Fisher.
