I been really wanting to flesh out/understand Snallygaster Anatomy with the hopes of figuring out some unique colours, but didn't get a chance to render due to a bad CTS flair up. ;C Poor guy needs more feathers.

Some light enviroment studies on procreate (with some minor post editing on Clipstudio paint) as a means to try and break out of my burnout/skill regression, the recovery process has been a slog. I hate that I go through this so many times in a year. I'm still learning out how to plan/cope, when they last for weeks often months. So I hope anyone passing by stops to appreciate my efforts.

some orginal character concepts mostly, when it comes to human character design I have noo idea what I'm doing. I have all these ideas in my head, and I just try and capture the vibe. I genuinly only really started to take drawing humans seriously in 2018 human anatomy is haard, I always found creatures and monsters easier. but I love vampires, mytholgy and folklore to much not to at least try. An most of these character have had lore of years.

Ratite Snallygasters - these were random examples I did some time ago, from some bird prompts. first one was done in procreate, the other in clip.

The Dismal Snallygaster - First Concept, one of the largest flight capable snallies. It's rarely seen too far from the Great Dismal Swamp. It has everything it needs.

Additional Monongy- Monongi? Monongus? I can't descide the range of colours or patterns. Probably dependant on their Habitat's Maybe they have sexual dimorphismn too, perhas changing pigmints during mating cycles.
