Sick

He was glad when the car ride was over and he could finally sit down on Tom’s sofa. He was completely exhausted, but at least he didn’t have to be sick in an empty house.

"Thanks," he said softly, while slowly lying down on the couch and attempting to calm down. He needed a shower, and a fresh change of clothes, but he couldn’t be asked right now. First he’d sit through this wave of exhaustion.

Bradley hadn't known Tom was going to come home with Colin, out of all people, so when he saw Tom's car pull up from the kitchen window, he raced upstairs. He looked like shit. He wasn't dressed well, his hair was stupid and maybe he didn't smell nice.

He had abandoned his food-making, but at least now he could get changed into something that was flattering. Maybe he could just stay upstairs until Colin left, but when Tom came up and told him the situation, he knew that wasn't an option. Okay, so downstairs it was, to make his food, fruit salad.

He had been standing on the landing for a moment now, making sure his phone was in his pocket if he needed something to rescue him, before stepping downstairs. He could see Colin lying on the settee. "Hello," he said, not knowing how else to greet him. He stepped to the kitchen. "Tom said you're sick. Can I get you anything?" Okay, he was doing okay. Not making a fool out of himself. Fucking hell.

"He probably knows that after today," Ben confirmed. He wished he could make Bradley forget what he’d seen, just so he didn’t have to talk him through this. It was easy to lie, but it didn’t make him feel particularly good about himself.

"I fucking hope so." He moved his hand over Ben's wrist. It'd be sore, probably. "Not that I did much to show it... I just know that Tom and Chris will help out if they need to. I don't think Ewan is that strong."

Bradley cleared his throat. "Are you going to tell Tom?"
