Zangestu was the devil on your shoulder, whispering merciless thoughts into your ear. He was evil and arrogant as ever. You were quite literally the opposite of him and somehow...he was your familiar.

The man you called upon when you needed help in a battle or couldn't finish it on your own. He was always there by your side, always taunting you.

There Zangestu was, sitting back while you were fighting.

"Go for open spots, y/n," Zangestu calls out, crossing his arms over his chest and leaning against a wall, watching you.

"Do you ever shut up?!" you scream at him, glaring back at him. Zangestu cocks an eyebrow and flickers out of your eyesight.

You snap your head back and gasp loudly. A sword starts to come crashing down straight towards your head and suddenly, Zangestu, appears in front of you.

He swings his own sword against the arrancar's and you gulp. He glares back at you and lets out a tiny scoff.

"Remember who's saving your life now," he retorts harshly, easily slaying your enemy. Your stomach twists into uneasy knots and you let out a tiny sigh.

There he was, always saving your life but not without taunting or teasing you.

"See? That wasn't so hard, was it?" he asks, throwing his arm over your shoulder and pulling you closer. You knit your eyebrows together and scoff quietly.

There was always something about Zangestu that threw you off, though. He always seemed to care about you, even if he didn't show it in the most practical ways.

The occasional soft touches, lingering gazes, and always stepping in when you need him.

"You can't stay mad at me forever," Zangestu chimes in, poking his head inside your room.

"Yes, I can. You would be surprised of what I'm capable of," you seethe out. Zangestu chuckles lightly and walks over to you.

"You like me, don't you?" he asks bluntly and you cough loudly, choking on the air.

"What?!" you gasp out, a chill running down your spine. Zangestu steps closer to you, gently grabbing onto your jaw and forcing you to look up at him.

You couldn't help it when the heat flushed to your cheeks and your palms become sweaty.

Zangestu pulls your face towards his and claims your lips as his own.

Your eyes widen when you realize what's happening. Zangestu is kissing you, he's kissing you. The feeling of his warm lips against yours, sends your stomach into knots.

You're leaning into the kiss, wanting more and you don't know why. You close your eyes and open your mouth, tilting your head. You deepen the kiss and grab onto Zangestu's clothes, tugging him closer.

He chuckles against your lips and slowly pulls away from them, but not without biting your lower lip. Your heart rams against your chest as he gazes down at you, hand still grasping your jaw and holding your face in place.

"So, you do like me," Zangestu comments, a smug smirk forming along his face. Your mouth gapes open and you quickly shove your hands into his chest, pushing him back.

"Shut up," you scoff out, rolling your eyes with annoyance. Zangestu chews on his bottom lip as he watches you press your fingers to your burning lips, wanting more.

"Just let me know when you want more. After all, I am always here for you," Zangestu whispers in your ear. The feeling of his hot breath against your ear, sends a chill down your spine.
