Hizashi really loves when Shouta sleeps.
Whenever heâs sleeping, the crinkles between his brows fades away, the plush lips that always seem to be set in a straight line parts ever so slightly in a small pursed fashion. The tension in his face melts away into tranquillity, and the soft curls of his hair always falls in just that perfect manner into his face, framing the soft roundness thatâs usually hidden by his scarf and dark hair.
The blond ponders on their differences, arm propped up on the couch as he balances lithely on his toes, face just a mere half an armâs length away from Shoutaâs face, silently admiring the baby fats that still cling onto his cheekbones. He wonders if Shouta knows how much he likes the softness that accompanies the firmness of his muscles underneath.
âJust like his personality,â he smiles softly.
Hizashi wonders if Shouta likes his hair, longer and smoother than Shoutaâs own, a bright yellow that catches the light just right so they take on a luminescent appearance. He wonders if Shouta knows how much time he puts into his appearance so he can look his best for his husband, for the world.
But despite his worrying, he knows that the other man loves him no matter how he looks, what he wears, what he does. He would lay gentle kisses upon his face, sharper and slimmer than Shoutaâs own. Then he would wrap his toned arms around Hizashi as he hides his face in the crook of the blondâs neck, nuzzling sleepily into his hard and probably uncomfortable body, tough in a way that Shoutaâs isnât, for the other is covered with not just muscles but a cute layer of softness that gives him a cuddly teddy bear feel.
He loves him so much, as he knows Shouta does him.
Hizashi leans forward, pushing back loose black strands of hair and placing a chaste kiss on the otherâs lips, only to jolt back in surprise when he feels the man twist on the couch.
Shouta wakes up slowly, eyes cracking open and nose crinkling in the cutest fashion. A long exhale leaves his nose as he turns his soft gaze onto Hizashi, the wordless question âwhatâ evident in his sleepy face. The blond feels his heart warm a little at the beautiful sight, leaning into the hand that reaches out touch his face (as Shouta always does when he wakes).
âSorry for waking you up, Shouta,â he whispers, already softly cradling the shorter man in his arms, pulling him into his chest and sliding an arm underneath his knees. He lets out a quiet grunt and he stands up with Shouta in his arms, pressing yet another kiss atop the crown of his head, smelling the soft, tousled curls that smells faintly of Hizashiâs shampoo.
âYou really shouldnât sleep on the couch, itâs not good for your back,â he chuckles. âWeâre not young anymore.â
He barely hears the nearly incomprehensible murmurs, sleep-tinged and slurred. âWas⌠waiting for you to come home. Bedâs coldâŚâ
Shouta buries his face deeper in Hizashiâs shirt so his voice comes out muffled by the soft fabric of the blondâs shirt. Hizashiâs eyes rove lovingly over the man in his arms, already falling back asleep while huddling into him for the warmth that emanates from his body.
âWell you can go to sleep now. Iâm home.â
One of many short drabbles I wrote for Discord; they finally have had enough of my angst bullshit LMAO so I wrote this to repent

Sakura (by Shinichiro)
When you decide that itâs okay to be cruel or callous towards certain people, or to see those people as undeserving of human dignity, the first people to end up on the chopping will be marginalized/vulnerable people.
Thatâs how it works, Iâve seen this play out time after time, and no âprivileged feelings donât matterâ had ever actually ended up primarily targeting the privileged in question. It doesnât work like that.
âItâs okay to mistreat prisonersâ = most prisoners are people of color
âItâs okay to bully white peopleâ = white women and disabled people are the ones who get singled out
âRapists should be killer or castratedâ = false rape accusations are rare but when they happen itâs almost always against brown or disabled men
âItâs okay to make fun of ugly people if theyâre whiteâ = Jewish and disabled features get singled out. Also poor people donât have access to cosmetic surgery personal trainers etc that rich ones do.
âItâs okay to accuse people of pedophilia even if they havenât committed it, if they creep you outâ = I have literally never seen a callout on this site for âpedophilia apologismâ that was directed at a cishet dude. Not even once. Itâs almost always women, especially queer women, non-binary people, trans men, and occasionally cis gay/bi men.
â(Honestly, Iâm not sure Iâve ever seen a cishet dude called out on here period.)
âItâs okay to characterize men as inherently evil and violent, because they have privilegeâ = brown and disabled men are already seen as unduly threatening, and itâs not because of privilege
âItâs okay to make fun of people who are cringy, they should learn to take a jokeâ = by âcringyâ people 9/10 times mean autistic, women over 30 that have hobbies other than knitting (already frowned upon due to misogyny and ageism) and middle schoolers
I could go on and on here but writing this out exhausted me already and Iâd rather go do literally anything else.
âStraight people are evil oppressors and their feelings donât matterâ = bi people (esp bi women) almost always count as straight in these discourses, whether itâs staged explicitly or not
If I smashed the reblog button any harder Iâd punch a hole in the coffee table.
