When I say I need fics of them i mean I need them like I need oxygen. Any and all recs are welcome. Like what do you mean they set each other off like nothing else but they are also the only ones who truly understand each other? Dick will always come back to Bruce and Bruce will always come back to Dick. Batman and Robin. His first robin, his first son, his first partner. If you haven't read any of the golden age comics where dick and bruce are actually just have the time of their lives being best friends I highly recommend you go do that now. I understand now Dick is nightwing and Bruce has all his children but there is just something so specially unique to just them.

Secret garden au. Thats literally it. Tim goes to live with Bruce after something idk but this is just after Jason died I think Damian is hidden in the house and Dick visits. It was an insanely well written fic and I'm pretty sure it had some art as well. I would rec if I knew the name which is why I've turned to tumblr in hopes of finding it.

Ok the fic is mainly Dick and Bruce but basically its set a little after Bruce has his spine broken by Bane and he hasn't adopted anybody( yet) it's just him and alfred. After being all sad and stuff he decides to find a way to get back to batmanning by doing the obvious and making a deal with a fae so he goes through a whole thing and summons Dick and it just goes from there. If anyone knows what fic i'm talking about lmk!!
