He's very much on the mind right now because I did a quest with him, my dear guardian. He thinks of himself as a weapon and a tool rather than a person after the countless wars and centuries of combat he's faced, protecting his nation and its people against monsters. He thinks of himself as corrupted and lost, and is the only remaining survivor of his original group, as the rest steadily lost their minds and then their lives.

But...he isn't. He's so sweet, loyal, brave, reliable, and so, so caring. He's scared to death of corrupting anyone with his presence, much less with touch, and he deeply fears further grief. For the most part he has spent centuries patrolling and scouting the mountains and marshes of Liyue to fight off any monsters, isolating himself from mortals and traveling alone, answering cries for help and then vanishing as soon as the danger was gone.

But little by little we're working on it 💚 spending time together, keeping him amidst my other partners and friends, showing him that letting himself love and be loved will not hurt the people around him. He's been selfless for countless decades, it's far past time when he gets to be happy, and I'll gladly make his favorite almond tofu whenever he wants and hold him tight.

could you do Too-Ticky? she lives in a boathouse during the winters and likes ice fishing, stargazing, philosophizing, playing the organ and flute, and avoiding drama. she is quick to step in and help others, with a natural sense of what people need to hear, and will give a lot of time to others who need company, even when she would rather be left alone.
