B ⟢ Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Probably the worst friend ever. He wouldn’t care what you were saying; he’d talk over you and just be a grump in general. You would probably have to force your way into Scott’s life; it’s an honour enough that he lets you. (He would get jealous if you talked about any guy, including Javi; he’s just like that.)

C ⟢ Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

After a long day, when you two are lying in bed, watching a random TV channel that is halfway through a sitcom run through, he loves nothing more than having you settled into his side. His arm will be wrapped around you tightly, his fingers running through your hair.

When sleeping, though, he has your head tucked under your chin and both of his arms firmly around you.

D ⟢ Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He’d always deny it, but after meeting you, he definitely thinks about settling down. Scott is a neat freak for sure and can probably cook the basics pretty well.

E ⟢ Emotions (How does he handle his own emotions?)

He locks up and comes across as frustrated, regardless of what he is feeling. When you two are alone, it will take a bit of time, but he eventually shares what he is feeling. Good luck trying to stop this habit.

F ⟢ Family (do they want one? If they do, when?)

I couldn’t see him being into it. If it happens, it happens. But if it doesn’t? Scott is happy with just you.

G ⟢ Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?)

Probably transfers you money when he’s away, or you’re angry, but doesn’t really buy you things. If he’s away for a while, he will bring something home for you, but nothing excessive.

H ⟢ Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold hands?)

Absolutely never. If you ever asked him straight up, he would literally just say ‘no’. He will sometimes take your hands to warm them up if you’re cold, but that’s as close as you're getting.

I ⟢ Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)

He gets so dramatic, already dialling the emergency number before anyone even notices what’s happened. If it was while out chasing (with someone else), he will get so angry with them Javi has to try and calm him down. But if Scott at all feels responsible, then he will be beating himself up for weeks about it.

J ⟢ Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

The most jealous guy ever, I feel like we all know this by now. Everyone knows not to look at Scott’s girl!!

K ⟢ Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?)

The longer the better, he likes them to be slow and intimate. But he’s not against sneaking away from everyone for a quick make-out.

L ⟢ Love Confession (How would they confess to their s/o?)

You probably wouldn’t even realise, he’d be so casual about it. You’d only realise when it sunk in that he invited you to the only diner in the area, which he constantly states he is “too good to eat at.”

M ⟢ Melt (what do you do that makes them melt?)

As soon as the motel door closes, kissing him. Slow and sensual, it makes his knees shake as he sinks into it.

N ⟢ Nightmare (what is their worst fear?)

Something is happening to you during a chase. He would never, ever forgive himself. Or his temper ruining what you two have going on, again, he wouldn’t forgive himself.

O ⟢ On Cloud Nine (What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings?)

To the people he’s worked with for a long time, it’s painfully obvious. I mean, Scott doesn’t smile at anyone else, that’s basically like him fucking you in public. Scott’s the type who, after he says ‘I love you’ for the first time, he doesn’t really stop (in private) and is very touchy.

P ⟢ Pet Names (what do they like to call you?)

Scott wouldn’t really be into pet names besides teasing you, imo. When he feels you’re getting whiny, he always lets you know by calling you ‘baby’.

Q ⟢ Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?)

As much as possible, especially before and immediately after time away from each other. But he loves waking up with you and being able to have a slow morning where nothing is rushed. Those are his favourite times with you.

R ⟢ Rhythm (what song reminds them of you?)

I imagine Scott being into pretty much anything old, so probably The Rain song by Led Zeppelin, Honky Tonk Woman by The Rolling Stones and Feels Like the First Time by Foreigner. Also, Steal My Thunder from the Twisters soundtrack.

S ⟢ Secrets (how open are they with you?)

He trusts you more than anything, but he wouldn’t want to bother you with things that he doesn’t feel are a big deal. So, unless you notice and push, it will probably go unsaid. I could see him revealing it, like years after it happened, in a casual conversation, and not seeing the big deal.

T ⟢ Time (how long did it take you to get together?)

I don’t think it would take very long. Your relationship would probably start by hooking up after chasing together, and it would grow from there.

I’m thinking two months max.

U ⟢ Upset (how do they act when you’re upset?)

He goes straight into panic mode; Scott’s brain cannot tell the difference between a tornado coming at him and seeing you cry, which often leads to him being very blunt and strategic with his ‘comfort’. He sort of has a plan in his head, so he has to complete each part, no matter if it really applies or not. He just wants you to stop.

V ⟢ Value (How important is the relationship to them? What is its worth in comparison to other things in their life?)

At first, definitely second to work. His job has always been everything to him, and his main personality trait. But now, he’d never admit it out loud, but you’re number one.

W ⟢ Weakness (What makes him weak?)

Arguing with you. In the moment, he won’t have anything else on his mind apart from proving his point (winning), and it doesn’t matter how loud he has to yell to get that across to you. But after, he’s devastated that he let you get so upset, don’t even start on it if you start crying.

X ⟢ X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?)

Scott makes it his mission in the first couple of months to know you like the back of his hand. So he can read you extremely well now, almost better than you can read yourself. His mission is to always get ahead of a problem that you’re dealing with before it turns into something more.

Y ⟢ Yearning (How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?)

With work, you can go quite a few weeks without seeing each other, which drives you both insane. It’s usually you texting him, updating him on your day, and him replying with a thumbs up or the shortest acknowledgement ever (he texts like a dad)

He loves getting back to his laptop and FaceTiming you, often letting you fall asleep on call while he replies to emails or does some research. He doesn’t want you to be constantly talking; he finds it awkward, but he is just happy to go on with his night with you in the background.
