We read that Damien Hirst's Gagosian Gallery displayed "326 paintings in eleven venues in eight cities around the world. Painters working for Hirst have made some 1400 paintings with multicolored polka dots laid out on mechanical grids." We have also seen that works by Yayoi Kusama are focused on "polka dots, " as well as Gabriel Orozco's "thinking in circles" paintings. Inspired by these artists, students created their own "spot" /"polka dot"/ "circle" drawing, painting or collage to photograph and submit for this post.

MUSEUM SELFIE DAY 2025 Museum Selfie Day on the third Wednesday in January invites the general public to go to a museum and take a selfie. The day promotes awareness of great collections of work stored in museums. Digital Studio students found art outside of the museum, mostly on the Elmira College campus.
