#My hottest take yet: of all the sections of Homestuck to adapt?#The intermission truly would have been the best.#Would it have been done well? No. Would it have been done *better*? Absolutely.#Not a high bar to clear for...Spindlehorse#But I would offer my beloved Felt with my own two hands#if it meant sparing Aradia and such.#The Dave characterization we see is. Telling. Of things to come. Not in any great way whatsoever#The Felt are more blank slates than most other Homestuck characters. They are canonically gay. You even have the designated Het Couple#In Crowbar & Snowman. 'Wacky organization (loose term) having wacky antics' was what I hoped for in HB. It was why I prefer the pilot#The pilot which is no longer canon. As for HB & HH#I do not like them! However. If the same HB pilot tone was applied to the Felt. It would be a far cry from poorly adapting anything else.#I have strong opinions regarding this dark chapter of my life. And that is. If a sacrifice must have been chosen to be bastardized#It should have been the Felt. Even if Stolitzification would have happened !#Back into the mists I fade.
