Priscilla's Studio

All you have to do, is to post a piece of content, any content (a short piece of writing, a link to a blog post, a video clip, a photo or two, an audio clip, a poem ANYTHING) to the Priscilla’s Studio Facebook page regarding what you love about Johannesburg’s heritage before 15 September 2018.

The best contribution will win a free night’s accommodation for up to 4 people in our suite valued at R800.

Accommodation is subject to availability and needs to be made use of before 1 December 2018.

Winners will be determined at the judges’ sole discretion.

Deadline is 15 September 2018.

There are even braai facilities available should you want to take advantage of these for Braai Day, but we think a night of pampering in a luxurious suite beats Braai Day any day.

This apartment is spacious (~36m2). It has a full size double bed in the main bedroom and two sleeper couches in the living area, offering comfortable and spacious sleeping space for four adults or two adults and as many as three or four children, depending on their size. There is a walk in closet providing plenty of storage space for anyone on an extended visit and the bathroom has a shower, basin, toilet and plenty of space to hang your towels. The fully equipped kitchen (fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, stove, oven and coffee machine) allows for a full self-catering experience. There is also a dining area and a comfortable living area with a flat screen television.

The venue is ideal for anyone from the business executive in need of a good sized space to operate from to the family on holiday looking for a comfortable, quite and safe place to stay. There are plenty of restaurants and entertainment spots, suitable for adults as well as family oriented entertainment nearby.

Of course all the usual Priscilla’s facilities: swimming pool, garden, kid’s playground, entertainment and braai (bbq) area etc are all open and available to you as well.

This will be a larger, more comfortable space, ideal for longer stays and larger groups. It will consist of an open place living room/ sitting space, equipped with sleeper couches and a television as well as a fully equipped kitchen (electric stove, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, fridge, utensils etc); a full bathroom (shower, basin, toilet) and a bedroom with a double bed.

The space will therefore be ideal for singletons or couples looking for a larger space for longer term accommodation as well as for families or groups of adults looking for a decent sized space to accommodate them in a group for a few nights. The full kitchen will allow many more catering options and will give even the most committed foodie all the facilities they need.

Right now we are renovating and getting the space up to our usual standards.

Just thought we would let you know that the studio is now equipped with a flat screen internet TV. This means you can stream movies, sports etc as well as watch Netfllix, YouTube and other video services from the comfort of the studio.

We are sure that this will add considerable value and enjoyment to your stay.

We offer affordable, comfortable, safe and quiet self catering or bed and breakfast accommodation in Johannesburg’s leafy green suburbs. We are close to Rosebank and Sandton Gautrain stations and nearby to a few major arterial roads. There is plenty to see and do nearby or you could just chill at the pool in your downtime. Priscilla’s Studio is a mere 950 metres (that is an 11 minute walk) from the Emmarentia Gardens. Why battle with parking and traffic when you could easily stay at our studio apartment and walk to the concert?

Our studio offers affordable rates and easy payment options (you can pay via the website, just look across to the right and pay using your credit card or your Paypal account via Paypal, it is safe, secure and easy), or you can contact us when making your booking and we can arrange for an EFT or credit card payment. Of course we can also accept cash on arrival.
