hmmm, thats a tough one. mostly because i have quite a few people i would consider a best friends. I guess I'll stick with my two bestest of friends though, just to make it easy.

Wally: His adhd brain is perfectly in sync with mine and we can go for hours just talking about nonsense. He can always tell when to keep things lighthearted and when things are serious, and I know that if i ever need him he'll be here faster than i can blink. He's always been my other half and i wouldnt have it any other way.

Donna: She is one of the strongest people i know. I can always count on her to be a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear, and i hope it goes the same the other way. Kinda like with Wally, i know i can always count in her but its still different. She's always there to check in on me and i can only hope to be half the friend she is. Everytime i talk to her, its like we are transported back to the last time we talked, and i always seem to feel a little happier after we're done.

on my back with one leg thrown over the other so my bottom half is almost completely twisted.

not much, i get the classic like red eyes if i shove my face into a cats fur but even then its pretty mild compared to others in my family.

yes. its the one my parents gave me and its something no one could take away from me. maybe in a different world where it wasnt one of the few things they ever gave me i wouldnt like it as much or would want to change it, but right thats not the world we live in.

96. How did you get your name?

my parents gave it to me. richard was my moms uncle's name and john is well...its my dads name, but it's also a family name on his side. also Dick comes from the nickname Dickie, right before the accident i had started switching to Dick because I felt grown up, and my parents let me.

as for the last bit, i think youve got me confused with the vigilante Nightwing. dont worry about it though! we get confused for each other sometimes, though i still dont get why, i am a hot mess. like for example, i have six empty boxes of cereal in my room right now and am answering this instead of getting ready for work. thats not something nightwing would do. but also thats some great advice! if i ever try escrima sticks ill keep that in mind.💙
