⏳ A character becoming obsessed with their own mortality, age, or waning beauty
Hilda has always been vain about her appearance, even when she gets in a fight she tries to stay as graceful as possible. But the fights are taking a toll on her body, and the countless scars are there to tell for it. Especially on days where she doesn’t have enough makeup anymore to cover up her scars she starts freaking out, not wanting to be seen in public with the things she deemed so ugly. The fact that she’s getting older doesn’t help either, now that she’s 25 years old she’s become painfully aware that she reached her peak in what was considered a “beautiful young age” and only getting closer now to the “old ugly age”. Despite her best efforts to cover herself while going out to get some more makeup a certain dice who she didn’t want to see, especially not today, ran into her and still managed to point out her scars, causing Hilda to freak out on him.
“SO WHAT!? I’M STILL THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN IN ALL OF INKWELL! YOU’RE JUST JEALOUS OF MY ETERNAL BEAUTY AND ARE TRYING TO MAKE ME INSECURE ABOUT MYSELF BY POINTING OUT THESE UNNECESSARY UNRELATED THINGS!”

King Dice, as usual, loves to point out every flaw on every lower worker who crossed his path... but seems like today is not the day. He steps back at the unexpected rant coming from that needlenose woman. God, if he knew she was going to take it that bad... he better quit the mocking right now...
-- Don’t raise your voice at me, blimp woman. Not like you needed my words to feel insecure, anyway.
Well, he didn’t.
-- By the way, aren’t you supposed to be cleaning the tables instead of wasting time arranging yourself and trying to stop the inevitable? That simple task is something you can complete, at least.
