reflection on february 2024 goals
it doesn't feel like too long ago when I did this, because it wasn't!
February's goals represent to me the importance of progress, not perfection. I considered not making my monthly goals because I wasn't in the right headspace to create them until later in the month, but I decided to try anyway and see where I ended up. although I didn't hit all of my goals, where I have ended up is further along than I was 10 days ago. and I'm so happy with that.
bake bread (I am so happy with how this turned out! I love baking but my parents don't eat sweets, so my mom suggested I try baking them bread instead and it worked out so well. beginning my bread baker journey hehe)
declutter windowsill (this took me about 20 minutes and it made such a big difference! slowly working through decluttering my room bit by bit)
curate 23 pins on Pinterest of personal style (this simply didn't happen, but it will be a goal for March)
update bullet journal (took a few hours in a coffee shop but so worth it)
wash dishes right away after eating (this will be a goal for March)
start one LMCC questionbank (LMCC will be a big goal in March)
submit rank list (so so happy to be almost done CaRMS season)
post 29 times on Tumblr (I fell short but it's okay I'll catch up in March)
post a vlog (you can watch it here)
finish POP Pilates for Beginners Calendar (to my chagrin, I still have two days left... which I plan on finishing this weekend)
drink my water bottle's amount of water daily (I want to keep this for March because I feel like I am so dehydrated if I don't consciously think about my water intake!)
get out of bed within 10 minutes of waking up (I was pleasantly surprised by how much I stuck with this habit, and it's something I want to keep around for March to ensure it sticks as this is something I've struggled with my whole life)
no aimless scrolling on my phone when waiting for something (I got this idea from a book called Ready or Not by Cara Bastone and I am happy about how less distracted I feel and look)
read four books for Black History Month (I stopped reading at the rabid pace I was on in January, so I overestimated my ability to do this. I ended up reading three)
